How It All Began
Let’s take it back to where it all started. I’ve always been obsessed with beautiful things – home decor, stationery, gifts – you name it. With a degree in Graphic Design, my creative journey first began on Etsy, where I designed and sold my own greeting cards and stationery. I loved the whole process of creating something unique that could bring a bit of joy into someone’s day. But I knew I wanted to do more.
Living in a small village in Cumbria, where shops like mine are few and far between, I dreamed of a space where I could bring together beautiful, well-crafted pieces from local artisans and small UK businesses. And that’s how Benny & Mollie was born – a little dream that’s grown into a much-loved online shop for home decor and gifts.

The name Benny & Mollie is close to my heart. It’s a nod to my family, my journey, and the things that matter most to me. Benny my Greyhound, the kindest soul and Mollie my childhood Scottie dog, who showed me what unconditional love is. It’s a reminder that behind every business, there’s a real person with a story, and for me, that story is all about creativity, kindness, connection, and community.

When I’m not busy running Benny & Mollie, you’ll usually find me out with my Greyhounds and Foster Galgo, enjoying the stunning Cumbrian landscape, or working on my latest DIY project. I love nothing more than curling up with a good binge worthy series (and a cup of coffee, of course), exploring local markets, and spending time with friends and family.
